Dr. Crystal Connor was born in Kremmling, Colorado, and later spent time in Northern Arizona. She eventually moved back to Colorado to pursue veterinary medicine and is a proud 2007 CSU vet school graduate.
After vet school, Dr. Connor moved to Boston, where she completed a small animal internship at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital. After which she worked as an Emergency doctor at a referral hospital in Portsmouth, NH. She then decided to move back to Colorado in 2010, where she continued her work as an emergency doctor in specialty hospitals in both Loveland and Longmont.
Dr. Connor is extremely excited to join Left Hand Animal Hospital and start developing new professional interests through the world of general practice. She has a great interest in guardian education; she loves sharing her knowledge with her patient’s guardians in order to help them feel informed and part of their pet’s health care decisions. Fully understanding the different facets of emergency care, she is now looking forward to the opportunity to focus on preventative health care and helping her patients through all of life stages.
In her spare time, Crystal enjoys yoga or reading in addition to backpacking, snowboarding, and movie watching with her husband. Her four-legged children include a dog named Santino “Sonny”, a St. Bernard-Boxer mix adopted from the Boulder Valley Humane Society in 2012, and a cat named Phoebe, whom she found as a stray kitten in 2002.
